The most common driving or access method for power wheelchairs is the joystick. This proportional access method provides 360 degrees of directional control and proportional speed. Not everyone can use a standard joystick, however, due to limitations in motor control or muscle strength. This webinar will present a variety of alternative proportional access methods with clinical indicators for each.

Learning Objectives:
  1. The participant will be able to list clinical indicators for mini proportional joysticks.
  2. The participant will be able to describe the difference between standard and isometric joysticks.
  3. The participant will be able to describe clinical indicators for various joystick placement locations.
